The Brent Community Connect Roadshows are a series of neighbourhoods roadshows which brings together faith- led, community and voluntary organisations and thematic leads that represent community organisations at policy meetings. There is also an opportunity to meet funders, health policy makers and corporate organisations that want to invest in local community.
We aim to increase communication between smaller frontline community and faith based organisations and Borough-wide stakeholders that influence the following areas of local social policy; children and adult; health, education, housing, employment, mental wellbeing, poverty, inequality, deprivation, community and culture to name but a few.
Please nominate one or two members of your organisations that can showcase your good work, and share ideas for improvement with voluntary sector representatives, public sector officers and local councillors.
You can attend as a speaker, stall holder or run a workshop.
