Capacity Building Support
At the heart of CVS Brent is our Capacity Building. This is a core service that provides our members with advice, information, training and guidance that will help them better deliver quality community services and initiatives. Our service aims to develop the sector’s ability to operate and respond effectively to current and future needs, challenges and opportunities.
As part of our mission to develop the VCSE’s capacity to better deliver services, CVS Brent provides training throughout the year. Members can access this training for free or at a subsidised rate.
Priority access is afforded to members to advertise services, events, volunteer and staff vacancies and other news. We can help with promoting such items via our newsletter and our Twitter feed.
Networking events and targeted projects
CVS Brent is regularly looking for partner organisations to help deliver themed events and carry out engagement projects. Priority opportunities are offered to member organisations.
Hire of Training Suite and facilities
Membership organisations are welcome to hire our Training Suite.
Voting at our General Meetings
Only the representatives of member organisations can vote at General Meetings including at the CVS Brent Annual General Meeting (AGM). Members help to shape CVS Brent and the provision of support for VCSE organisations in Brent.
