![]() These advice sessions are for voluntary and community organisations working in Brent and aim to enable you to explore whether there might be potential for your organisation to develop a heritage project. The history of the diverse communities such as history of African, Asian or Irish high street food shops is important yet undocumented. How do we keep this alive? Heritage such as the traditional cooking methods, products used by Caribbean, Polish and Brazilian residents in Brent can be forgotten in favour of modern devices and fast food delivery. The story and history of talk shows, community centres, black pastors and faith organisations all make Brent the borough of culture. Local organisations, you and your service users have an opportunity to work on a joint project and to leave a lasting legacy.
