NHS Brent Patient Representatives Vacancy (voluntary)
Brent CCG is the GP-led organisation responsible for planning and buying (commissioning) many of the health services needed by the 325,000 people who live in Brent.
Brent CCG is made up of all 66 GP practices in the borough and are member practices have organised themselves into five commissioning localities – Harness, Kilburn, Kingsbury, Wembley and Willesden.
We have a clear vision of delivering better care closer to people’s homes and we are working in partnership with our patients, members and partners to deliver this. Managing and treating patients in primary and community care means fewer unnecessary admissions to hospital, so hospitals can concentrate on patients who are critically ill and those who require specialist care.
Patients are at the heart of everything we do and make decisions about health services based on the feedback we get. This is to ensure that the services we purchase and redesign are services that residents need and can access.
Two new vacancies are available for the Brent Patient and Public Engagement Committee, where you can volunteer your time to improve NHS Brent’s engagement and patient interactions. A role description of the post and the application form can be found below. Travel expenses for duties undertaken for this role are reimbursed.
The closing date for this role is 2nd September, with interviews to be held 22nd September. Completed application forms can be sent by email to f.uddin@cvsbrent.org.uk with the subject “NHS Brent Patient Rep” or posted to F Uddin, CVS Brent, 5 Rutherford Way, Wembley, HA9 0BP.
