Volunteers from Brent donate to the appeal in St Vincent*
A gift from London to St Vincent & the Grenadines
Patricia Wharton, of The Let’s Talk Show, Chalkhill Community Radio Station was so inspired by Pastor Mario, of The Willesden Seventh – day Adventist Church in Brent that she echoed the appeal far and wide.
The church, faith community and volunteers gave a lifeline of hope to citizens affected by the volcanic eruption in St Vincent and the Grenadines. The donations of clothing, food and goods poured in steadily over several weeks and filled a 40 foot container on 16 May 2021.
Cllr Muhammed Butt said,
Pastor Mario was so pleased with support for survivors.
Thank you Patricia, “It certainly takes a village” we all need to make sure that we lend our full support to help make this effort a success.
